- Enrollment forms are reviewed within two business days once received.
- Your funding authorization or budget must be in place before services begin.
- If you have questions, your Acumen agent is available to help guide you.
This ensures you and your caregivers are properly set up from the very start.
Stress-Free Payroll Processing
Once your caregiver is hired, payroll doesn’t have to be a headache. Acumen handles the full employer responsibility — including:
- Processing payroll on time
- Withholding and paying all required taxes (federal, state, Medicare, Social Security, unemployment, and workers’ compensation)
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws
Caregivers receive W-2s (not 1099s), because they are recognized as employees — protecting both the worker and the employer.
Direct Deposit Options
Getting paid should be fast and secure. Caregivers can enroll in direct deposit by submitting a form with a voided check. Direct deposit typically takes 2–3 pay periods to activate, but once it’s set up, it ensures reliable, on-time payments.

Transparent Tracking
