Enrollment Made Simple

Before any caregiver begins work, employers and employees must complete required forms. These forms are critical for compliance with the IRS, Department of Labor, and state regulations.

With Acumen:

• Enrollment forms are reviewed within two business days once received.

• Your funding authorization or budget must be in place before services begin.

• If you have questions, your Acumen agent is available to help guide you.

This ensures you and your caregivers are properly set up from the very start.

Stress-Free Payroll Processing

Once your caregiver is hired, payroll doesn’t have to be a headache. Acumen handles the full employer responsibility — including:

• Processing payroll on time

• Withholding and paying all required taxes (federal, state, Medicare, Social Security, unemployment, and workers’ compensation)

• Ensuring compliance with labor laws

Caregivers receive W-2s (not 1099s), because they are recognized as employees — protecting both the worker and the employer.

Direct Deposit Options

Getting paid should be fast and secure. Caregivers can enroll in direct deposit by submitting a form with a voided check. Direct deposit typically takes 2–3 pay periods to activate, but once it’s set up, it ensures reliable, on-time payments.

Transparent Tracking
